The male hormone androgen is the main cause of acne and it also increases the oiliness in women. The oily sebum also comes out near the hair follicle that protrudes from the skin. Women may get more acne before menstruation.

Rub the face once or twice a week to remove dead skin cells. Apply mint juice or mint oil on the face and rinse off with lukewarm water after 10 minutes.
