Food colors in fruits and vegetables



Foods are found in many colors. They are mainly in vegetables and fruits. These colors contain many vitamins. Let's see what they are. 
Red color: 
  •  Beet root
  •  Tomato
  •  Watermelon
  •  Pomegranate
  •  Onion
  •  Red pepper
  •  Cherry
Red dishes contain lycopene. The red color in fruits and vegetables is a component of lycopene. It will also fight cancer. Lycopene is not produced in the human body.

Yellow color:

  •  Mango

  •  Pineapple
  •  Papaya
  •  Apricot
  •  Carrot
Yellow and orange fruits and vegetables contain carotenoid, potassium and vitamin C. Carotenoids are give strong orange and yellow color in fruits and vegetables. It helps to enhance the eyesight. Potassium helps your brain function and your muscles grow and control the blood pressure and heart rate.


Green color: 

  •  leafy vegetables
  •  Green apples
  •  Green grapes
  •  Submerged
  •  Beans
  •  Green peas 
  •  Kiwi
  •  Avocado
Green fruits and vegetables contain calcium, iron, fiber and folate. Calcium is essential for the health of bones and teeth. Then the fiber is used to prevent constipation and to regulate blood sugar levels and cholesterol levels. Folate is essential for the health of an unborn child. Indoles can fight cancer.

White color:

  •  Garlic
  •  Potato
  •  Cabbage 
  •  Cauliflower
  •  Onion
White foods include beta-glucan, allicin, and ligand. Beta glucagon enhance immunity. Lignans are good for heart health.

Blue or Purple color:

  •  Grape
  •  Purple
  •  Slack Berries 
  •  Plum
  •  Cabbage 
Anthocyanin is gives to fruits and vegetables a blue or purple color. This nutrient helps prevent cancer and prevents stroke and heart disease.
